I was born in Acapulco, Mexico and came to California when I was 5. I was raised, by strong women who never took no for an answer. And here we are now!!

Cooking for me is personal, it’s something special. I come from a long line of great women cooks.

All three of my sisters and my aunt who helped raise me are great cooks. I am often reminded that my mom and grandma were also excellent cooks. I guess it’s in our DNA. Miranda was my mother’s last name.

This is why I chose it, as the name for my company. This is a small homage to my mother’s name and my older sister, and all the strong women that have supported me and helped me throughout the years. Thank you. Love You Mi Familia!!!
